VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® fasteners provide an adjustable and reusable way to organise cables, wires, leads and other items. The hook and loop surfaces are permanently joined back to back, allowing the fastener to wrap around a bundle and engage with itself without adhesive.

Choose the Correct ONE-WRAP® Fastener

Continuous VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® Tape

Continuous ONE-WRAP® tape can be cut to the required length, making it suitable for bundles of different sizes. Wrap the cut section around the items and overlap enough of the two surfaces to create a reliable engagement.

For smaller cable bundles, choose 10 mm black ONE-WRAP® tape or 10 mm white ONE-WRAP® tape. The narrow format is useful where space is limited or a discreet fastening is preferred.

For general cable management and larger bundles, select 20 mm black tape, 20 mm white tape or 25 mm black tape.

Wider 50 mm and 107 mm formats provide a larger engagement area for broader items and custom fastening sections. Width alone does not determine suitability: the overlap length, opening direction, bundle shape and applied load must also be considered.

Pre-Cut ONE-WRAP® Reusable Cable Ties

Pre-cut ONE-WRAP® ties provide a convenient option when individual, consistently sized cable fasteners are required. The narrow end passes through the slot in the head, helping the tie remain attached to a cable when the wider bundle is opened.

Choose black 20 mm × 200 mm ONE-WRAP® cable ties or white 20 mm × 200 mm ONE-WRAP® cable ties. Different pack quantities are available through the product options.

The department also includes narrower and shorter formats such as 13 mm × 200 mm black cable ties and 20 mm × 150 mm black cable ties.

Colour-Coded ONE-WRAP® Tape

Colour-coded fasteners can help separate or identify cable groups, equipment, work areas and storage categories. The 20 mm continuous tape range includes blue, red, yellow, green and purple.

Pre-cut 20 mm × 200 mm cable ties are also available in black, white, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red and yellow. Colour coding is an organisational aid and should not be presented as an electrical, safety or regulatory identification system unless the installation follows a documented coding standard.

Continuous Tape or Pre-Cut Cable Ties?

• Choose continuous tape when bundle sizes vary or custom fastening lengths are needed.
• Choose pre-cut ties for faster, repeatable installation and individual cable attachment.
• Choose a narrow width for smaller cords, chargers and space-restricted installations.
• Choose a wider width when a larger engagement area is required.
• Choose coloured fasteners when visual identification will simplify maintenance or organisation.

Do not automatically choose the widest tape. An unnecessarily wide fastener may be bulky on smaller cables, while a fastener that is too short may not provide sufficient overlap.

The flexible construction is suitable for cable management where a rigid, permanently locking plastic tie would be inconvenient. It must still be fitted correctly and should not be pulled so tightly that the cable jacket, insulation or internal geometry is compressed.

How to Use Continuous ONE-WRAP® Tape

1. Arrange the cables or items into the required bundle.
2. Wrap the tape around the bundle to determine the required length.
3. Allow sufficient overlap for the two surfaces to engage securely.
4. Cut the tape cleanly using suitable scissors.
5. Wrap the tape around the bundle and press the overlapping surfaces together.
6. Check that the bundle is secure without being compressed or distorted.
7. Open, reposition and refasten the tape when the contents change.

How to Use Pre-Cut ONE-WRAP® Cable Ties

1. Pass the narrow end of the tie through the slot in the wider head.
2. Pull it gently around one cable if the tie needs to remain attached when open.
3. Arrange the complete cable bundle.
4. Wrap the remaining length around the bundle.
5. Press the overlapping surfaces together.
6. Check that the tie is secure without overtightening the cables.

No installation tool is normally required. When the bundle needs changing, peel the fastener open carefully and reuse it rather than cutting it.

Important Selection and Safety Information

Standard ONE-WRAP® products should not automatically be described as flame-retardant, plenum-rated, load-rated or suitable for every outdoor environment. Specialist versions exist, but those properties apply only when confirmed by the exact product specification.

Do not use ordinary ONE-WRAP® tape for lifting, fall protection, load restraint, child-safety equipment or any application where unexpected opening could cause injury or serious damage.
