Jubilee® Superclamp Heavy-Duty 304 Stainless Steel T-Bolt-Style Hose Clamps

• Heavy-duty clamping performance: Jubilee® Superclamps are designed for demanding hose connections where a conventional worm-drive clip may not provide sufficient band strength, tightening torque or resistance to movement.
• All-304 stainless steel construction: The corrosion-resistant stainless steel design is suitable for marine, industrial, agricultural and automotive environments where zinc-plated mild steel may be inappropriate.
• Continuous 360-degree hose contact: A formed bridge piece spans the opening beneath the fastening assembly, helping maintain even clamping pressure around the hose and reduce potential leakage points.
• Smooth hose-protecting band: The wide, unperforated internal surface spreads force across a larger area, helping reduce cutting, pinching and localised damage to reinforced rubber and flexible hose materials.
• Closely graduated size options: Available in adjustment ranges from 17–19mm through to 253–265mm, allowing a more accurate fit for pumps, machinery, vehicle pipework and industrial hose systems.

Jubilee® Superclamp 304 Stainless Steel Heavy-Duty Hose Clamps

Jubilee® Superclamps are engineered for demanding hose installations that require greater clamping force and a more substantial construction than a conventional worm-drive clip. They are also known as GBS or barrel-hardware clamps and may be used where a comparable T-bolt-style hose clamp is specified.

The all-304 stainless steel construction provides increased resistance to corrosion for marine, agricultural, automotive and industrial environments. A wide, smooth band distributes clamping pressure across the hose without perforations that could cut into the surface.

Continuous and controlled clamping

A formed bridge piece spans the opening beneath the bolt assembly, helping maintain continuous contact around the full circumference of the hose. The solid trunnion supports the fastening bolt and allows the specified tightening torque to be applied in a controlled manner.

Typical applications include:

• Industrial suction and delivery hoses
• Marine pumps, pipework and onboard equipment
• Vehicle coolant, air-intake and reinforced hose connections
• Agricultural machinery and irrigation equipment
• Pumps, compressors and vacuum systems
• Manufacturing machinery and heavy-duty flexible ducting

Selecting the correct size

Measure the outside diameter of the hose after it has been installed over the pipe, spigot or connector. Select a clamp whose stated adjustment range includes the measured diameter. Superclamps have closely graduated adjustment ranges, so accurate measurement is important before ordering.

Use the correct socket or spanner for the selected clamp and tighten only to the specified recommended torque. Excessive tightening can damage the clamp, hose or underlying fitting.

This product is intended primarily for heavy-duty hose connections. Suitability for hot exhaust systems, rigid exhaust pipes, chemicals, pressure systems or safety-critical installations must be confirmed against the operating temperature, pressure, hose material and equipment manufacturer’s requirements.
