Hose Clamps, Hose Clips & Jubilee Clips
Shop hose clamps, hose clips, Jubilee® clips and specialist clamping systems for automotive, plumbing, agricultural, industrial and everyday maintenance work. Choose worm-drive clips, mini clips, T-bolt clamps, P-clips, O-clips, V-band kits, CV boot clips and cut-to-length banding.
Measure the finished outside diameter of the fitted hose or component, then select the appropriate clamp type, adjustment range and material for the application.
Hose Clamps, Hose Clips and Pipe Clamping Solutions
Our hose clamp department brings together general-purpose worm-drive clips and specialist fastening systems for hoses, pipes, cables, exhaust components and automotive repairs. Products are available in zinc-protected mild steel, 304 stainless steel and selected 316 stainless steel options.
The correct clamp depends on what is being secured, its finished diameter, the operating environment and whether the connection needs to be removable. A P-clip supports a pipe or cable, while a worm-drive clip seals a hose connection. V-band clamps join compatible flanged pipes, and ear clips form compact crimped connections.
Choose the Correct Hose Clamp Type
Worm-Drive Hose Clips
For everyday hose-to-pipe connections, browse our standard worm-drive hose clips. Their screw-operated design provides an adjustable fit for automotive hoses, garden equipment, plumbing, ventilation and general maintenance.
Our Original Jubilee® hose clips include genuine branded clips in zinc-protected mild steel, 304 stainless steel and selected 316 stainless steel versions.
Small and Heavy-Duty Hose Clamps
Mini hose clips use a compact nut-and-bolt construction for small-bore fuel, air and fluid hoses where a conventional worm-drive housing may be too bulky.
For reinforced hoses and more demanding connections, consider T-bolt and Superclamp-style clamps. Their wide band and bolt fastening are intended for applications requiring greater clamping force.
High-torque hose clips retain adjustable worm-drive operation but use a stronger construction for demanding automotive and industrial applications. Follow the tightening specification for the exact clamp selected.
Quick-Release and Hand-Adjustable Clips
Quick-release hose clamps and straps can be opened for installation around closed assemblies. For connections requiring frequent tool-free adjustment, choose winged hose clips with hand-operated screws.
P-Clips and Ear Clamps
Rubber-lined P-clips secure hoses, pipes, wiring and cables to a mounting surface. The liner helps reduce vibration, movement and direct contact, but P-clips are retaining supports rather than hose-sealing clamps.
Single-ear and double-ear O-clips produce compact crimped connections for suitable fuel, air, water and fluid hoses. They require compatible installation pincers and should normally be replaced after removal.
CV Boot and V-Band Clamps
Use dedicated CV boot clips and accessories to secure driveshaft gaiters. Measure both the narrow driveshaft end and the wider joint end after the boot has been positioned correctly.
V-band clamp and flange kits join compatible exhaust, turbo and fabricated pipe sections. The clamp and both flanges must share the correct diameter and mating profile.
Cut-to-Length Clamp Banding
For non-standard diameters, hose clamp banding allows a fastening system to be assembled at the required length. Keep the band, housing, screw or buckle within the same compatible system.
Choosing the Correct Material
- Zinc-protected mild steel: cost-effective for general use in dry or protected environments.
- 304 stainless steel: improved corrosion resistance for damp, outdoor and many automotive or industrial applications.
- 316 stainless steel: available for selected applications involving more aggressive, saline or corrosive environments.
Material grade alone does not determine suitability. Consider temperature, chemicals, vibration, pressure, hose material and contact with neighbouring metals.
How to Measure for a Hose Clamp
- Fit the hose completely over its pipe, connector or hose tail.
- Measure the hose’s outside diameter at the clamping position.
- Select a clamp whose adjustment range contains that finished measurement.
- Confirm that the band width and housing fit the available space.
- Check the required material and tightening method.
Do not order using the hose’s internal diameter alone. Its outside diameter usually increases after it is fitted over a connector.
Assortment Packs, Dispensers and Tools
Keep commonly used sizes available with our hose clip assortment packs and Jubilee® clip dispensers. These are practical for garages, engineering workshops, service vehicles and maintenance departments.
Browse our hose clamp tools, clip drivers and pincers for installation. Match the tool to the fastening system: a hex driver cannot close an ear clamp, while ear-clamp pincers cannot tighten a worm-drive screw.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a hose clip and a hose clamp?
The terms are commonly used interchangeably in the UK. Jubilee® is a registered brand name and should not be used to describe every generic hose clip.
Should I measure the hose or the pipe?
Measure the outside diameter of the hose after it has been fitted over the pipe or connector. This is the finished diameter the clamp must surround.
Can hose clamps be reused?
Many undamaged screw-operated clamps can be removed and reused. Permanently crimped ear clips and any clamp showing deformation, corrosion or thread damage should be replaced.
Which clamp should I use for reinforced hose?
A T-bolt, Superclamp or high-torque clip may be appropriate. Follow the hose or equipment manufacturer’s specified clamp type and tightening requirements.
